By requesting a consultation, accepting an estimate, scheduling a service visit, purchasing materials through us, or allowing our team to perform work at your property, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. 1. Estimates & Pricing

Free estimates are based on the information available at the time of consultation, inspection, or inquiry. Unless otherwise stated, estimates remain valid for 30 days. Pricing may change if measurements are inaccurate, materials are changed, hidden conditions are discovered, or supplier costs are updated. Work begins only after mutual approval of the proposal and payment of any required deposit.

For many projects, Renovate House Energy may issue a written or digital agreement outlining the approved scope of work, selected finishes, expected schedule, payment structure, and customer responsibilities. This agreement becomes the primary project reference. If verbal discussions differ from written terms, the written agreement will generally control.

3. Our Promise of Workmanship

Labor completed directly by our team may be covered by a workmanship guarantee for the period stated in your project documents. Appliances, fixtures, electronics, and branded systems remain covered under their respective manufacturer warranties where available.

4. Services & Availability

Our services may include interior upgrades, kitchen and bathroom remodeling, decor improvements, flooring, roofing, gutter work, security systems, fire safety solutions, exterior enhancements, and related residential improvement services. Availability may vary depending on location, property type, technical suitability, and scheduling capacity.

5. Scheduling & Timelines

We make reasonable efforts to begin and complete work within discussed timeframes. However, timelines are estimates only and may be affected by weather, permit delays, material shortages, customer-requested changes, utility interruptions, access restrictions, or hidden structural conditions. If delays arise, we will provide updates when practical.

6. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for providing accurate information, timely approvals, and safe access to the property during scheduled service windows. Work areas should be reasonably clear of obstacles. Valuable, fragile, or sentimental belongings should be secured or removed before work begins.

7. Permits & Approvals

Certain remodeling or installation projects may require permits, inspections, association approval, or utility authorization. Unless specifically included in writing, obtaining such approvals remains the customer’s responsibility. Decisions and delays by outside authorities are beyond our control.

8. Changes to Scope

If additional work, upgraded materials, revised layouts, or design changes are requested after a project has begun, pricing and timelines may need to be adjusted. We may provide an updated estimate or change authorization before proceeding with extra work.

9. Payment Terms

Depending on project size, payments may include an initial deposit, progress installments, and a final balance due at substantial completion. Overdue balances may delay scheduling, material procurement, continued work, warranty handling, or final project handover.

10. Materials & Suppliers

We may source materials and products from third-party suppliers. While we aim to recommend reliable options, shortages, discontinued products, shipping delays, or manufacturing defects may occur. Where practical, suitable alternatives may be recommended for approval.

11. Existing Property Conditions

Older homes or previously renovated properties may contain concealed issues such as water damage, pest activity, mold, outdated wiring, plumbing leaks, structural weakness, or code non-compliance. Discovery of such issues may require additional repairs, revised planning, or extra charges.

12. Site Safety

Customers, children, pets, and visitors should remain clear of active work areas. Project zones may contain tools, dust, exposed materials, ladders, electrical work, noise, or temporary hazards. Following safety instructions helps protect everyone present.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Renovate House Energy is not responsible for delays or losses caused by force majeure events, hidden defects, supplier failures, misuse after installation, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. 14. Cancellations & Rescheduling

Appointments may be cancelled or rescheduled with reasonable notice. If custom materials have been ordered, permits submitted, or labor specifically reserved for your project, certain non-recoverable costs may remain payable.
